Jamie R. Stewart - President / General Building Contractor

Jaimie is a third generation San Franciscan who has worked locally in the construction industry since 1976 and has operated as a General Building Contractor since 1985.

Aside from construction, Jaimie enjoys family time, community involvement coaching various youth sports and whitewater rafting trips to the wilderness.

Jaimie’s overall role at Landmark Builders is short and long term company planning. Jaimie is thoroughly involved in facilitating construction projects by meeting new clients, providing estimates of cost and scheduling of time, negotiating contract agreements and ongoing project performance monitoring.

Todd McAlvain - Vice President/General Manager of operations, serving the construction industry since 1980.

Todd has been involved in construction professionally since graduating from high school and has built his construction career and vast knowledge of construction from the ground up. Starting as a laborer and working in all of the various positions in the construction field, Todd has ultimately advanced to his current position as Vice President / General Manager and Jaimie's partner at Landmark Builders.

Todd's main role at Landmark Builders is to assure that all projects are completed on time within budget and that our client’s highest expectations are met or exceeded. Todd works with Landmark Builder's superintendent’s and project manager’s on a daily basis to make sure that our client’s needs are fully met and that all aspects of their projects are running smoothly. Todd has managed countless high profile projects throughout the Bay Area.

Todd also enjoys family, friends and anything out doors. Todd has long been involved with the youth in his community, from baseball to high school agricultural programs and the Sebastopol Future Farmers of America Advisory Board and it's local groups.

Jeff Young - Project Manager, serving the construction industry since 1983

Jeff brings more than 25 years of construction experience to our team. Jeff has completed projects that run the array from high-end Bay Area homes and Napa wineries to commercial and State run projects.

Jeff understands the importance of clear communications with all members of the project team and clients. Jeff is responsible for all aspects of project planning, from budget estimating to quality control of the finished project. Jeff’s eye for detail and skills as a craftsman, along with his ability to manage construction budgets and schedules has made him a valuable member of our team.

Jeff is a devoted father, who enjoys coaching Little League in his spare time.

Christie Lopez - Controller/Office Manager, office administration & accounting since 1992

Christie has over eighteen years experience in all aspects of accounting and business management, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Christie started in this career by volunteering her time to doing bookkeeping for her family’s businesses. Christie now has a wide variety of expertise in this field from college, continued education, seminars, and from working with businesses of all trades.

Christie expertly manages all aspects of Landmark Builders payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Christie organizes the flow of information from each project through our main office so that every project is thoroughly up to date and can be managed “real time”.

Martin Beaudry – Superintendent, serving the construction industry since 1983

Growing up in Marin County gives Marty a local perspective and he understands the unique complexities and opportunities of the Bay Area.

Marty’s experience with completing numerous high-end construction projects spanning over the last 3 decades has given him unparalleled people skills. On the job, Marty is dedicated to achieving the highest building standards and is able to be flexible and attentive to the needs of our clients. Marty has the ability to work with clients, municipalities, subcontractors and crew simultaneously to keep all aspects of the project humming along smoothly from start to completion.

Marty lives in Petaluma with his wife and two children. He coached Little League for 15 years and loves the outdoors. On the weekends you can find Marty spending time with family, dirt bike riding, camping, traveling, fishing, playing golf and working on his wife’s endless to-do list.

Tim Cahoon – Superintendent, serving the construction industry since 1986

Tim came from a construction family and built his first house with his father and brother as a teen. Tim has twenty-four years of professional construction experience and has a history of successful projects under his belt.

Tim is a community-involved person who once led fifty volunteers to South Dakota's Pine Ridge Reservation where they built a log cabin for an elderly woman in need of a sound place to live.

Tim skillfully balances the onsite needs of a job, from keeping it on schedule, quality control, and interfacing with architects and structural engineers, to working to keep the neighbors around the job site happy. Tim's clients trust him and have enjoyed working with him to build their dream homes.


Construction Crew – Landmark Builders employs skilled field crews of Journeyman - Apprentice Carpenters and Laborers to perform the following categories of work:

  • Concrete foundations and formwork
  • Rough framing carpentry
  • Exterior and interior finish carpentry

We have established relationships with qualified and reputable specialty trade subcontractors that perform the following type of work:

  • Plumbing, electrical and mechanical
  • Gypsum wallboard and insulation
  • Tile, stone, flooring and painting
